Underwriting Agencies Council
Axis is a member of the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC). UAC is the peak representative body for underwriting agencies in Australia.
It serves its members interests by:
- Providing professional development and educational events
- Holding regular expos in capital cities to allow their members to showcase their specialist products and services to insurance brokers
- Marketing campaigns to promote the underwriting agency sector
- Representation to government and industry bodies
Emily Walker, our Head of Strata & Development, has been on the UAC board since the end of 2014 and is currently the Company Secretary & Public Officer.
